Day 1

Arrive AucklandInternationalAirport. I personally meet all my clients, regardless of time or day of arrival and then deliver you to your 5+ star accommodation in central Auckland, New Zealands largest city. After settling you in we leave you to relax and unwind or enjoy one of the many activities we can recommend. The rest of the first day, is yours to unwind and relax after your travels and activities are only limited by your energy levels. Simon is available 24/7 to assist you with anything you may need.
Day 2
Allowing you a good sleep in on your first day, Simon meets you late morning and we then travel for approximately 1 hour by car North of Auckland to Warkworth where we board our private helicopter for a days Heli Fishing. This is excitement plus – enjoy an exhilarating helicopter ride over the Hauraki Gulf in a Helicopter to GreatBarrierIsland where we land on private rocky outcrops and headlands and proceed to fish for a variety of species, including snapper, kingfish, john dory and trevally pus others. Your catch is professionally filleted and dressed for you and we can recommend many restaurants that will be happy to prepare this for you. We also welcome and love to have our guests at our own home for a home cooked meal should they wish during their stay. Later that day we return by helicopter back to Warkworth and then onto Auckland where we again deliver you personally to your Auckland hotel. The evening is yours to enjoy Aucklands sights and sounds at your own pace.
Day 3
This is your day to explore and enjoy Auckland – the options and potential activities are endless – see our activities page for optional extras. As always Simon is available 24/7 for any assistance you may need.
Day 4
Simon uplifts you from your hotel for a leisurely drive to Lake Rotorua. The rest of the afternoon is spent playing and sightseeing in this internationally renowned destination. The lists of activities on offer are endless
Day 5
Trout time on Rotorua! We are picked up early morning for a great days fishing on the lake by boat. Rotorua has large numbers of Rainbow Trout and Brown trout in excellent condition. Fishing finishes mid afternoon where we then visit one of Rotoruas top attractions - Hells Gate, a geothermal wonderland ( www.hellsgate.co.nz ). Later this evening we drive to Lake Taupo, one hours drive from Rotorua.
Day 6
Taupo area. Today we chase trout again, but this time on rivers flyfishing. Many crystal clear rivers flow into LakeTaupo offering anglers excellent opportunities to secure a great fish. The scenery is spectacular, and many options are available. All gear and licences are again supplied. Local guides with specific knowledge of this area, and the trouts constantly changing location, accompany us to ensure your chances of success are optimized. Fly casting tuition is also available for first timers. We again spend a night in Taupo. Numerous restaurants and bars are available for your enteratinment and dining.
Day 7
Next day we sightsee on our way back to Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to include an extra activity into your holiday, or to simply relax and reflect on your holiday so far. We deliver you to your central city luxury accommodation for the night.
Day 8 - 11
Simon arrives bright and early and uplifts you from your hotel where we then travel by car north of Auckland for 3 hours to the internationally renowned scenic and fishing destination of Paihia in the Bay of Islands. We check into our luxury waterfront accommodation and spend the first day sightseeing and relaxing. That evening you have a choice of local restaurants. The next day we are picked up from our hotel and spend the day fishing for a huge list of different species by boat,– see our Species page for details on season availability of species we fish and hunt for. We return again to our hotel for dinner and festivities. The next day we repeat and again spend fishing and on the water. Diving is also available, as Simon is also a qualified PADI Instructor. There are several wrecks in the area in addition to opportunities for hunting crayfish. That evening is again spent in luxury accommodation, seaside at Paihia. Day 11 we drive back to Auckland and deliver you to your central city accommodation
Day 12 - 15
A mid morning start see’s us at Auckland Airport, this time our destination is Queenstown, New Zealands adventure capital based at the bottom of the South Island. We are met at the Airport and are transported to our accommodation on the edge of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown at the base of the magnificent Southern Alps. That afternoon is spent fishing on Lake Wakatipu by boat, one of the most secnic lakes in the world, for the fantastic Rainbow and Brown trout that the lake contains. That evening we spend in our luxury lakeside accommodation. The next day is guided flyfishing. The Queenstown area contains numerous opportunities for fly fishing in crystal clear lakes and rivers. Make sure you view our optional activities page for information and links to the many extras that are available whilst in Queenstown. That night is again dinner and fun back in Queenstown. That evening we again spend in our luxury lakeside accommodation. Our 3rd, and last night in Queenstown is spent as you wish – from quietly at your hotel, to enjoying one of the many restaurants and bars the town has to offer. The next morning, Day 15, we transfer back to Auckland and deliver you to your hotel for the last night of your package.
Day 16
Departure.
